About:
The aim of RME Week is to advance responsible management education globally through convening, collaboration and knowledge exchange. This annual gathering brings together academic leaders, educators, researchers, students and practitioners from across the world; offering a dedicated space to reflect, share insights, and co-create strategies for embedding sustainability, ethics and social impact in business education and research.
The 2026 edition carries the theme “Counting on Collective Values” — signalling a shared commitment to solidarity, collaboration and values-driven leadership across borders and institutions.
Hosted in Cairo, the RME Week emphasises the growing importance of the African & Middle Eastern region in shaping global management education discourse and sustainable development efforts.
What to Expect:
RME Week 2026 features a diverse, action-oriented programme including:
PRME Global Forum (28–29 June): Keynotes, panel discussions, breakout sessions — focusing on innovative and responsible management education practices.
RME Week Reception (29 June, afternoon): Networking and community building among participants from academia, business, research and student communities.
AACSB International Societal Impact Workshop (30 June, morning): Practical, interactive session on embedding societal impact into accreditation, institutional strategy, stakeholder engagement and curriculum.
EFMD Global Workshop (30 June, afternoon): Exploring how accreditation and quality frameworks can drive meaningful transformation of business education — beyond compliance, towards purpose and impact.
RRBM Network Session (1 July, morning): A gathering of scholars and institutional leaders to discuss responsible research, methodological integrity, and the role of research in driving societal impact and building trust between academia, business and society.
